First Impressions Review: Watch Dogs [Released 05/27/2014]

Thanks, Sword. Don't care about notoriety...just want to play at my own pace and enjoy the game.

 

The cops are a pain. I am probably doing it wrong because I am new to the game but it takes a long time to lose them if I even can.

And I wish there was more outfits to pick from in the store I hate his trench coat and changing the color or patern on it don't change the fact he is wearing a trench coat.

But it is good and better then I thought it was going to be I wouldn't give it no 9.5 like the OP but maybe a 7.5 or a 8 if I could shoot random people for fun on the street.

 

the police chases do get easier when you get some of the hacking skills unlocked, like raising a bridge is very effective. so far i've have to the game is about an 8 for me, maybe 8.5.

 

I really impress by the amount of side stuffs....

I can spend hours just playing the digital trip games...

My "big" dissapointement are the motocycles,driving feeling is poor,not fun.

There is always something happening or to do,really great....A "real "living world.

 

Yeah the cops are a pain a little harder than in gta. Which I like. If you just try to out run them it gets rough. You have to use your hacks well. A good timed one wrecks them at the intersection or a barricade and rewards you'd with a slow Mo if them wrecking
lol. If you get caught by the helicopter forget about it.

Now I haven't looked into the invading stuff. How do you turn that on? Or is that active and I didn't realize?

@bstn617 - Yeah when I checked where I originally posted this, I thought they deleted it for some reason, but then I thought I'd check the Watch Dogs forum. And low and behold it was here. Anyways I don't mind it, makes sense though. However a redirect link
or a simple private message would have been nice. But it is what it is.

 

@bstn i find hacking stuff to lose them i hid inside a locked car park open the gate drive in close the gate hide. also i want to know how do i go into a friends game and hack them it says i gotta do the online contracts inverduction but how do i do that

 

You can't hack friends specifically, after you get to a certain level in the campaign, you can hack AI, some of them won't like and put a bounty on you, at that time other people get notified of this and can opt to take on the contract, then the fun starts.

You can go into your phone and look for online contracts in the online contracts tab. Or they will come up on your screen a bit like a criminal activity but in purple not blue.

 

Only thing I dont like is you cant shoot out car windows. I understand you have to hack to get away from police etc but just having to ram people off the road to get them to stop seems a bit old fashioned and boring. but tgats just my opinion.

 

i hate the way if a AI car hits aother car it catches fire also i want to be able to hack friends

 

The graphics are great but the gameplay mechanics feel sloppy. I agree with the 7.5/ 8 rating as someone said before. I don't have this for Xbox One, I bought the PC version.
