First ever game, Spartacus Legends; Need some answers.

I am in the "baby boomer" generation. This is my very first time playing any Xbox 360 game. The Spartacus Legends game is advertised as free to play. However it is asking me for money to buy weapons. Is this correct? You have to pay for all the gear to
play with? And can you play the game by yourself? This is all very confusing to me.

Oh bro in the game there are slivers and gold (currency) when u complete the fight at the end of tht u get slivers when u level up u sometimes get gold or or slivers or other gear

Yes, you can play the game by yourself.

Yes, some free to play games, and even some games you pay for, may have certain things in the game that you would have to pay for in order to get them. In that game, you do earn in-game currency to use towards things though. So you can still get pretty far.

I need help still. Not sure if asking in right spot? Sooo new to XBOX. I'm having trouble with the controller directions. Not sure what "toward & away" mean? Which is right & left? And Do YOU REALLY remember ALL those combinations of "X, Y, A, B, ^,<,>,
ETC.? I just been hitting a lot of buttons & praying a lot! What little I played it, it has been fun for this "old" disabled body. But I really wish somebody would explain the movements / control to me so I could play it some what right?

Toward and away would mean to move toward or away the other character. So it just depends on which direction your character is facing.

Left and right would mean pushing the left stick on the controller left or right.

Some people remember the combinations, but it's not really necessary. I'm more of a button masher myself.
