    First enforcement offense

Hi, I was issued a 2 week suspension on my account for communication. The person that I was talking to was bullying and harassing me in very disrespectful ways. I reported him for the vulgar and offensive language/hate speech but he didn't get suspended,
    only I did.

Is there anyway the suspension can get reduced, I haven't had a suspension on my account in years?

    :)

  2. Enforcement action

I too got the enforcement action for using the F-word. This was in response to a message that I received for a harassment message. This is my first time offense and I get suspended for a first time offense? Seems like overkill to me.

I accidentaly message reported my friend and I dont want to get him banned. PLEASE HELP!!

    The Enforcement team does not read or respond in the forums. The message your friend sent does look offensive if you have quoted it accurately, so your report of it will be taken seriously. The action take will depend on your friend's enforcement history;
if this is the first offense, there might be a one day/24 hour communication ban, for example.

I'm not sure what the "banned in a couple of days" means. The Enforcement team does not pre-warn of actions; there is either a suspension or there isn't. If that's an accurate mention, your friend might have gotten a message from somebody else (not Enforcement)
that has no actual effect on enforcement.

    Good day

He may still get suspended as he might be under investigation still.

But you should contact the enforcement team to do a case review for your suspension.

Reports against a player are not always reviewed immediately and in some cases can take a few days, Your only option is to perform the case review through enforcement.xbox.com if eligible.

    Hello,

Sorry for your bad experience on Xbox Live for being harassed and bullied.

However, the Enforcement team does NOT suspend anyone for doing "nothing".

Every time you (or someone else) reports something, the console will collect information and telemetry data and send that in with the report as evidence.

Based on that evidence (e.g. the message you reported was being sent in with the report), the Enforcement team makes a decision, if the evidence shows that the Code of Conduct was not violated, nothing will happen. If however the evidence
shows, that it violates the Code of Conduct, a suspension will be issued.

If you still think your suspension was issued in error, you can try to file a case review by going to
https://enforcement.xbox.com and sign in with your suspended account.

Click on the yellow tile with the hammer on it, and find your suspension in the list.

You can then file a case review, where you'll first have to prove that you have knowledge about what conduct is allowed on Xbox Live and what violates the Code of Conduct. If you need help with the questionnaire, you can

look up the Code of Conduct here
    .

After that, you can then explain why you think the suspension was issued in error.

But don't waste you one and only attempt at correcting this by saying "But I did nothing". As I said above, the Enforcement team does have evidence showing that you seemed to have violated the Code of Conduct, and issued the suspension
    on that evidence.

If you have behaved against code of conduct and rules, that you have insulted him. You can get banned easily if the person reports you.

Next time, just do not answer and tell them that you reported the player. Nothing else. Do not argue.
