Discus and support First Dashboard ads......now load in ads?! in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Are ads now the norm for loading in to Xbox in addition to be shoved down our throats on the dashboard?     First Dashboard ads......now load in ads?!


    Are ads now the norm for loading in to Xbox in addition to be shoved down our throats on the dashboard?

    I have been playing a lot more Steam lately because I like having an ad free dashboard with ability to customise beyond 2 measly groups and thought I'd head back over to my Xbox for a bit. I signed in, was taking a bit longer than I remembered, then an ad for Call of Duty MWIII appeared.

    I don't want to see this, I'm not buying it. If I want to buy a game I will, I don't require MS to tell me when a game is available or which books have been made into games etc........all of the ads and useless feeds are nothing more than rubbish taking up real estate.

    I am so glad i cancelled my Game Pass. I am so grateful for Steam right now.

    Ads do seem to be the norm nowadays. The best thing is give them feedback to try to get Xbox to stop them altogether.

    I am using a wireless connection, no error things. The ad just loaded up yesterday. However, I am also having trouble loading the wreck it ralph and man with the iron fist ads (none loaded yet). It might help to know that a sibling lets me use their accounts
    to access ads, I get on ad, I log off account, log on my account, view ad. These ads are mostly the ones with free props

    Hey there hypemiitrudog07! Is it only the Intel advertisement that will not load? Or do you have trouble seeing other ads on your Dashboard? Do you receive any error codes or messages? And lastly, what type of connection are you currently using? Wired or
    wireless? As it might help to try a wired connection here!
