Firmware update and missing content

I am not able to see all the content (games, menu etc). If I perform Test Xbox Live Connection my dashboard, menus etc are changed and I can also see more content and titles in games, demos etc.

But when I try to download any new demo (which is only visible after Test Xbox Live Connection) it first asked me to sign in to xbox live which I am already and then it just report some error -1 on the download button and when I go back everything is back
to normal!

How can I fix it? I cant even search and purchase a lot of games as those are not appearing.

Cannot download anything, including preview dashboard update. 0x8007000e

Ever since the recent firmware upgrade I haven't been able to download any store content I purchased, or updates.

Have you tried checking the status of the Xbox live service where you are?

As every now and again the service does have faults which prevents all content being shown.

Have you checked in the Xbox Accessories app if the newly bought controller has the most up to date firmware? Maybe the controller was sitting on a store shelf for a long time, and missed several firmware updates.

Insiders have a changelog to check for firmware changes, while official updates are included in the blog. Missing a direct integration in the dashboard, it's true, it would not be a bad idea.

Update the Controller Firmware

Your Xbox One controller actually has firmware that receives updates at times. It doesn’t get them often, but a corrupted or outdated firmware could cause disconnection issues.

If your controller is functional, you can update it by tapping the Xbox button to open the guide. Go to System > Settings > Kinect & devices > Devices & accessories. Select your controller, then choose Ellipsis
menu > Firmware version to check for updates.

I have the latest firmware update, and have tried connecting both wirelessly and wired and still have the same issues, the video tutorial In4Ab8tin, mentioned works on a hit and miss basis.
