    I noticed that whenever I go to xbox.com I get the message: "For the best play experience, please use a supported device and browser combination."

    Why isn't Firefox a supported browser? For years every website had to go to great lengths to ensure compatibility with Internet Explorer — because Microsoft wouldn't follow web standards. Why can't Xbox make their own websites accessible on standards-compliant browsers? is this a purposeful attempt to force usage of Edge or Chrome?

    I use Firefox now. It is by far the best browser I have used, and I have no problems with xbox.com.

    Do a search for microsoft silverlight and download the plugin for web browser firefox or internet explorer. I used the firefox browser. Then sign in to xbox.com. Click change avatar and it will let you do it. It won't ask to open games app after silverlight
    is loaded. You will see the avatar menu open.

    I see the video, maybe it's a browser thing? Xbox.com just started working in firefox for me so I'm using that now.

    there's an issue at the moment with the ambassabank, they've posted a thread about it in the ambassador support forum. the workaround at the moment is: "please don't log into Xbox.com first, instead, once you open up a new browser session, go to Ambassadors.xbox.com,
    click the Ambassabank tab, which will then force you to sign into your Xbox.com account" also looks like it's a browser issue, firefox doesn't seem to like it whereas people using IE have found it working fine so try swapping browser too
