Fios Quantum G 11000 XBL Connection issues.

The problem began with signing me out of live then signing me back into live every time I started a game with online functions. It has progressed to where I am completely unable to access XBL through the 360 console. I have cleared the console memory cache,
reset the default auto network setting, opened forward ports, checked the plug and play, lowered the firewalls, and I am seriously running out of ideas that I know how to access. Anyone out there with some experience in this?

If you haven't already, go ahead and delete your gamer profile (Delete Profile Only) and redownload your profile from Live.

Follow the proper steps up front, and in given order.

How to delete Xbox LIVE profile safely

Before you delete your profile you have to know the username and password for your Microsoft account that is associated with your profile.

1. Go to Settings, and then select System.
2. Select Storage.
3. Select All Devices.
4. Select Gamer Profiles.
5. Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
6. Select Delete.
7. Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.
   

Clear Xbox system cache (3 times in a row)

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
   
2. Select Storage or Memory.
3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
4. Select Clear System Cache.
5. Repeat this process three times in a row.

Restart your console.

Download Xbox LIVE profile.

1. Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
   
2. Select Download Profile.
3. Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
4. Enter your Microsoft account password.

No such luck, I have a secondary console I pulled out of storage reformatted and still can't connect.

 

Do you get an error code?

Which connection type are you using with your console, Wireless, or Wired (Ethernet)?

Is the console you are using part of the Xbox 360 Preview program?

Is the failing console by any chance the version with the built-in internal flash memory (4GB)?

You mentioned a second console. Are you able to try connect your second console to Xbox Live?

I try both wired and direct every time I make a change.

Yes, one is in Preview Program.

Both my white original(completely formatted) and black slim 360s fail to connect, neither is the 4gb version.

 

Just tried to DMZ the console and still nothing.

 

Have you been in contact with your ISP, to have them know about your situation, and if this could be isolated to their end, or not.

Go to Xbox Network Settings and select your connection type. Select Configure Network. Select Primary DNS and type 8.8.8.8 For secondary DNS, type 8.8.4.4

Delete a portion of the current system update insatalled on your console and reinstall the update.

Go to System Settings and select Storage.

On your controller, press the following button sequence:

Press the left bumper.

Press the right bumper.

Press the X button.

Press the left bumper.

Press the right bumper.

Press the X button.

 

There's an issue between the fios gateway and Xbox live servers. I've had the same problem and same error code since yesterday morning. Before wasting your time calling Verizon and Xbox (I was on the phone for 2 hours)try using an alternate MAC address for
your 360. This at least let me connect to the server temporarily, hopefully you'll have better luck.

 

Looks like I now own some rather expensive paperweights, nothing is working.

I am having the same issues. Cant connect to XBL since 4/14/2015. I've tried all the suggested restarts/reboots/...blah,blah,blah ... all to no avail. I thought about calling Verizon, but those idiots will have me on the phone for hours and in the end
will just tell me to call Microsoft .... Someone mentioned a Fios gateway - to- XBL problem. Are there any more details on this "gateway" situation?

The new Gateway G-11000 is supposed to be particularly good with many wireless devices being used at once and has worked flawlessly in my home. After a few days of rooting about the internet it seems Verizon is having issues with game systems connecting
to XBL servers especially in the DC Metropolitan area. The problem, for me, doesn't seem to be fixable from home. On another forum Verizon has stated to a customer (via phone, take that how you will) that it should be fixed today at some point, 4/16/15.
