**** FIOS Cable Box, won't display in HDTV

One day, my XO and **** FIOS cable box simply lost the ability to work together. When I hook up my cable box through the XO, the screen outputs at 480p. Switching the cable box resolution in the box settings to 1080i or 1080p simply squishes the picture.
When I hook the cable box up to the TV directly, it works fine. Does anyone have any idea what I can do here? I already tried to reset TV settings in the Xbox One, but I worry that one of the updates broke my ability to use Xbox TV and OneGuide. Thanks for

HDMI HDTV issue

Tried resetting display settings, didn't work. Tested on other HDTV (direct connection with HDMI, different cable), worked fine. Retested on my HDTV, through receiver with different cable, not fine. Retested with same cable, direct connection, worked.

Issue, won't display properly on HDTV when passed through receiver, even though it had as of about midnight CST, while other HDMI devices connected to receiver have no problems. This is an issue because my HDTV only has one HDMI port.

Can I run Xbox One live TV without a cable box with an HDMI outlet?

New Xbox One, is it true I need a cable top-box that is set up for and has HDMI outlet. I have Comcast Cable with a Motorola DCH70 cable box and an Infinity wireless box, but I do not get HDTV and neither box has an HDMI outlet. Is there anyway to get
Xbox One Live TV & benefits thereto without upgrading to Comcast HDTV and new HDTV top-box with HDTV outlet?

I am having the same problem. I've replaced all the hdmi cables and I'm on my second xbox one, but periodically continue to get lines through the display. I've removed the xbox from the equation and the problem goes away, proving my TV and fios cable box
isn't the issue.

Anyone have any thoughts???

Try to see if your cable provider has a companion app that you could use on your smartphone or tablet. I have Verizon Fios and with the Fios Mobile app you can control your T.V./cable box.

Same problem, also with FIOS box. Sound is good, blinking on/off. all cables secure.
