Finding the Right Headset

So I just bought myself a new Xbox 360 E console, and it is completely awesome! However, I'd like to know what headset I can get that supports both game audio and chat audio for sub $40. Thanks for reading!

Turtle beach x1 cod ghost

Question will this headset work with cod on the new xbox one?am hearing stories that headsets wont work without an adaptor?

For cod ghost you really do need a headset.i tried without for few days kept getting killed.but since buyng headset am hearing and finding other players easily.

however, if your willing to stretch a little further I'd recommend either the Turtle Beach X12's or the Tritton Trigger Headset.

Both are pretty similar, they'll be a lot more comfortable too. I've had both of them. If I had to choose between them I'd go with the X12's as they have bigger earcups and I have big ears!

Thank you so much! I bought the x12's on sale at Gamestop and they work perfectly. I could even use them With HDMI without an adapter due to the 3.5mm port on the E!

Hi! Most do, as long they have 3.5 mm headset jack or if it needs a headset adapter. On the box or in the description of the controller it will say if it have it, but if it doesn't say anything about
a 3.5 mm headset jack or headset adapter then it's most likely not going to work with any mic.

If the headset is plugged into the console with the USB-C cable but isn’t receiving a charge, first check the cable connections to both the console and the headset. If that doesn’t work, try plugging the headset into a different power source (another port on a console or device).

If it still not charging/ turning on then you should request a replacement

You’ll need to find your headset’s serial number to register your device and request a replacement. If you still have the device’s original packaging, the serial number can be found on a sticker on the bottom of the box. The serial number is also printed on a sticker located beneath the padding on the headset’s right earcup. To remove the padding and find the serial number:

Hold the right earcup by the volume dial and gently pull the earcup padding away from the headset.

The earcup padding will slip off, revealing the headset speaker underneath.

The headset serial number is printed on a sticker below the speaker.
