    Finding Sales and Promotions in the European Xbox Store


    Hey,

    I just noticed a Capcom Sale by setting my Xbox to an American location (I'm from the Netherlands). I could also find the same information on http://www.xbox.com/en-US/promotions/sales/capcom-sale-xbox-one-games.

    I am really wondering whether these sales are not promoted in European stores? When browsing through the store, I can actually find most of the same promotions. However, they are never mentioned anywhere... Why I wonder? Same goes for the website. The Dutch
    version doesn't even mention the sale, while the US version does.

    Why does this difference exist when both stores actually have those Capcom games on sale? Also happens with other sales... It really makes finding sales and promotions a hassle....

    Need help with the $5 Xbox gift card promotion

    Am I able to use a receipt from the Microsoft Store online to qualify for the $5 promotional offer? I made a purchase of a 12 month Xbox Live subscription via the Microsoft Store online on March 1. About a month ago, I submitted the receipt from my email
    to the promotion. However, I still have not received any confirmation.

    The marketing teams are different between the US and Europe.

    Some promotions will be pushed harder by the developer/publisher in this case Capcom in some regions.

    Even Xbox UK doesn't show the Capcom offers which is English speaking so isn't a translation issue.

    Could be that the European marketplaces on Xbox.com and on the console hasn't been updated yet and will be updated in the coming days.

    Game with gold and demos

    The Games with Gold section normally shows up on your home screen, but if you can't find it there, you can always find it online at

    www.xbox.com/.../sales-and-specials

    There should also be a Game demos section that shows up in the store. Go right to Store, then down to Games store, and it was underneath the Backwards compatible section for me.

    Ubisoft sale not working for Xbox?

    Any sales on software is offered through the Xbox store. Ubisoft runs their own store on PC, and does separate promotions with other platforms

    I believe we had the game on sale last week, and even if we didn't, I virtually assure you it'll be on sale again soon.
