Finding out what account is linked to my PlayStation.

Hi, A couple of days ago I was trying to log in to my Microsoft account in Minecraft on my PS5 and it said that my PSN account was already linked to another account. I do not remember linking my PlayStation account to a different Microsoft account. I have tried to log into Minecraft using different accounts but none worked. If they did I don't have access to those accounts. I would like to know if there is any way to find out what account is linked to my PlayStation. If so is there any way to unlink that account and relink the correct Microsoft account to my PlayStation? I have gone to Minecraft's help website and Microsoft's and none have helped. I have contacted Microsoft but they didn't help either. The only help I found was on https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360037725571-Minecraft-for-PlayStation-TM-4-FAQ and it said "When you see this error message, it means that the Microsoft account is already connected to another account on the PlayStation™ Network.

The solution is to link the PSN™ ID to a different Microsoft account since the Microsoft Account you’re attempting to use is already connected to a different PSN™ ID. Each Microsoft account may only be linked to a single PSN™ ID and vice versa."

The message in the picture is the same message I get but the only problem is that I already tried that and it said the same thing like I said earlier. Maybe it linked to one of the accounts but it never worked.

*Also I put this under Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One because that's the closest thing to PS5*

Again, Microsoft has no idea what data Sony keeps, PERIOD, END OF STORY. Once you're a software engineer for over 30 years you can have an opinion on this.

Sony has decided they will absorb your Microsoft account any way they can, just hoping to fetch the wrong one, and never tell you which account it is linked to. Go ahead and try to ask them which account your own Sony PS account is linked to and watch them do exactly as I said. Paste you a response and hang up.

Playstation is to McDonald's as Xbox is to Burger King. They are not going to help each other, they are direct competitors. In this case you're going to a McDonald's drive-thru and are asking for a whopper and they're telling you to get out of line and go away. They're not even going to explain they sell a different product, just get out.

My kid can't play cross-play with me and lives just under 100 miles away from this on-going infantile Sony behavior. I made a new account and got around it that way. That game doesn't cost that much but this is very much a Sony invented problem.

I am having the same problem that you were having in the past. The only problem is that I have one PSN account. So it is impossible to unlink a account that doesn’t exist. I will try to contact Sony right now, and post my ending results.

- If anybody knows of a way to fix this please respond, or get with me.

I can tell you that Sony/PS will tell you that you must contact Microsoft to find out. They insist this and will absolutely refuse to help you in any way with this question. Chat will instantly give you a pasted response and close chat. Twitter support will never even respond. Calling them will end up with the same result as above.

The answer given is correct here. You should be calling PS support, not Microsoft. Microsoft has no idea what PS does, what data they link, etc. They have zero access.

This is such a nonsensical and ridiculous ongoing issue.

Sony should be ashamed.
