Finding linked accounts to icloud email

My name is Ezequiel I'm an Independent Consultant. For security reasons the email is not fully displayed, unfortunately you have to try to find out what your email would be by the initials, I suggest you try to compare the letters with your old emails.

You can keep those two accounts. For the account that has the iCloud email, try to replace it with a new or different email which you have access to. Removing iCloud email and replacing it with a new one won't lose your game.

You can do that by signing in the account (iCloud email) to https://account.microsoft.com > Your info > Edit account info > Add new email and set it as a primary email for you to remove the iCloud.

I see. It's not possible to add the outlook email to your account with the iCloud email because outlook is a Microsoft email - it cannot be added or transferred to another Microsoft account. Even if you could transfer the outlook email to your account from the console, your Minecraft account is still linked to your other account since we cannot merge accounts. You will always have those two accounts. It's just a matter of changing email addresses or aliases but not their data.

One email (the xbox account) is an icloud and the other (my laptop) is an outlook email. I tried changing alliases but it said that email was already in use (the outlook email), so I'm not sure if it's a "can't do anything about it" thing or not.

I am sorry to hear about your account issues you are having. You are correct in stating that we don't allow account merging anymore and this link is the public statement we have on the issue. It honestly became a huge security risk that we couldn't overcome and had to be a stop to the practice. Short answer is that we discovered security risks we couldn't prevent when merging customer accounts, so the process was shuttered.

As for your fathers iCloud email still being associated, it sounds like it is either a possible alias for the account or it is setup a security backup for the account. If you can't access the account still using your fathers iCloud email, I recommend using the "other options" method when selecting to recover the account and see the security token can be sent to either another email or phone number on file. You will need to get access into the account to remove the iCloud email.

Checking Alias'

1) Login to the account here

2) Go to "Your Info" in the upper left-hand side

3) The emails associated to the account are in the middle of the page under the alias section. This is where you can add and remove emails that are associated as login or sign-in info. More info on alias's can be found here.

Security Backups

1) Login to the account at the account link above

2) Click on Security at the top

3) Reverify your account, this is needed whenever security settings are changed.

4) Click on advanced security settings

5) Make your necessary updates in the "Ways to prove who you are" section

Here is some additional information on the security section of your account. I would primarily look for the iCloud email address here and remove it and replace it with an email you have regular use with.
