Finding email from gamertag

Basically I discovered that I was using another email in one of my games by asking my friend on which gamertag I'm using for that game. Long story short, my sister and I share console but my sister is under parental control by dad who also put up his email in our xbox. I'm definitely not using my sister's account since some games are not suitable for her age. Currently the console is not with me but I want to make sure which email I'm using for the game. I'm not sure if I added my old email to the xbox but I want to ensure if it's my dad's or mine. The question is, is there a way to know the person's email from that gamertag? Or I should wait for the console to arrive? Honestly I want to be at ease and it is worrying me

There is no option to finding an email from Gamertag but you can definitely sign in using your Microsoft account to https://account.xbox.com/profile for you to check if the email that you're using is linked to the correct Xbox profile.

Unfortunately you cannot unlink accounts - what is recommended here is to make a third "dummy" account, and use it to move your profile as follows:

"Old" Email

"New" Email

"Dummy" Email.

Move your gamertag from "New" Email to "Dummy" Email. Then move your gamertag from "Old" Email to "New" Email. At this point you can then just trash Dummy email, and your new email will have your old gamertag

Hi - Im keen to find out if this worked or not. I've looked at the advice from Mistress Sara and if Im not mistaken that suggests that you change the email details on the Microsoft account as opposed to just on the Gamertag. Im presuming its just the Gamertag
email address you're looking to change?
