Find driver 360 controller to use a xbox series controller on my MacBook with Monterey M1 chip.

I need the driver 360 controller to use a xbox series controller on my MacBook with Monterey, because my Mac opens and connect fine to the controller but it does not respond when I press a Botton, and the driver with the last update apparently doesn't work with Monterey. is there any possibility to find the right driver? (MacBook with M1 chip).

From what I've read about the problem with other users and with different controllers it seems to be a problem with IOS. Microsoft only has the drivers for Windows and I don't think it will work on a MAC or any other controller model.

Sounds like a faulty controller to me. Especially if it used to work but now it doesn't and the fact that you've tried it on two different computer's.

Downloading drivers won't help as there are no updated drivers. The drivers for the Xbox 360 controllers are built into Windows 10. There no issues with Xbox 360 controllers and Windows 10 to my knowledge.

The only way for sure would be to try another Xbox 360 controller or a third party Xinput supported controller. Failing that an Xbox One or Series X|S controller.

Hi Lucas, there is no Elite Series 2 controller driver only show 360 controller I uninstalled the driver, restart computer and connect the controller and still have the problem sorry

Are you trying to find the drivers for the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver? If so, then the drivers are built in to Windows 10, and should install automatically when you plug the adapter into a USB port. If you are using an earlier version of windows, then
the add new hardware wizard should start, and find the drivers.

PCs require the adapter in order to use a 360 controller, as the controller uses a custom wireless format.

The Xbox one controller uses a different hardware and software setup than with the 360. The drivers in the controller are incompatible with the xbox one with the 360 controller. The circuit board is completely different, and the software inside the controller
also is different.

On a computer, there are 2 separate drivers for the 2 separate controllers. You can't run a 360 controller if you have a xbox one driver in the computer.
