Find a game I bought and send it to a different account

I purchased Far Cry 6 for my son as part of a bundle purchase for an Xbox Series X. It says "completed" in my orders. I need help to (1) find the game and (2) transfer it to my son's Microsoft account so he can get it onto the Xbox.

Depending on how/where you bought it, it would have either been emailed to you as a code that you could then redeem on your son's account or it would have been directly added to your account.

If it was added to your account, it would not be possible to transfer the game to your son's account. You could set the console as your Home console to share the game with him. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox

Does the redemption show up on this link? https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/

If it does, then you can go to the store, search for the game and install it. If it doesn't show up then the game was redeemed on a different account. You'll need to find that account and install the game from there. Unfortunately no one can find it for you nor send you a new code.

But how can I find out what region the gift was bought from, I purchased with a card from a different country, although my account is located in a different country then the card I paid with.

Yea that's what happened my xbox account and the account I bought the game on are different...

Hello, sorry its no way to transfer that balance to a different account. Only option would be if you find something you want and buy it as a gift and send it to correct account, if it allows you to use balance as payment.
