Lol I hate the graphics in a lot of those 8 bit games but I think that one looks pretty good

Looks like ghosts and goblins its only taken 18months to go from 8bit to 16bit this time next year we could be hitting 64bit games

 

I understand perhaps the nostalgic factor must play a role in these bit games. But I just can't.....

I remember Ghost & Goblins, wasn't it also known as Ghouls & Ghosts in some areas?

Not sure how I would feel about playing it today ( or something similar ) but back in the day it was an absolute classic in my opinion.

 

Ghouls and ghosts was sequel/remake on snes orginal arcade was ghost and goblins

 

Still play old games on mame love a bit of retro gaming but don't really enjoy these new games trying to be retro

 

It doesn't bother me as long as they have some kind of fun factor. I still love my Doom's, Golden Axe, Final Fight etc and they aren't necessarily known for mind blowing graphics lool I even recently purchased an Intellivision to play some greats on it.
Classic fans will appreciate these a lot more than graphic hogs...que the "but but but this is a $500 console sayings or $300 whatever one you pick" lool

I knew this was a Goth thread before entering because she just loves these type of games.

I don't think I'll ever play it unless it's free, I got better games to be spending money on!
