Finally upgraded my console

Finally upgraded my old 360 Elite, to a nice shiny 360S that had been waiting patiently in its box. And wow, is it quiet compared.

Had ran out of space on the HDD on the Elite and didn`t want to delete anything. And I now also have the option of upgrading the HDD from a 250 Gb to the recently released 500 Gb model.

Didn`t want to go Xone as I still have so many games yet to play and so many more 360 games that I enjoy on-line.

Hello all,



I have a question, i am currently in the
Xbox 360 Dashboard Preview program on my old console (60GB White Console)

Yesterday i bought a 250GB Slimline and want to import all my game date, saves, DLC and gamertag to the new hard drive via the data cable i have, my question is will this 'block' my account? untill the preview program tag goes from the dashboard?



Im going to give the old console to my brother (live in the same household) will he be fine to make a GT on the console?

If you think the slim's quiet, wait 'til you hear an Xbox One (ie - you wont!)

 

should have put it towards an XB1 ... not really an upgrade is it its still a 360 ...

edit : ive kept my 360 and gone back to it from time to time ...

 

oh apart from the HDD space ...

 

The slim is super quiet I agree. I remember when I got the S version from the core version. Lol. My wife started sleeping better

 

The slim is amazingly quiet and the Xbox One and is more quite in my opinion, nothing like a ninja xbox!

 

Couldn't agree more. I remember the MW2 days, late night free for all, ruined by the sound the core version used to make. It had spurts of random loudness, like it confused itself for a tumble dryer every so often lol
