    This is the problem:

    My Xbox One seems to have issues accessing my movies that I have on a 5 TB external. This didn't start happening until the 5 TB was a little over 2 TB full. Then it began saying it can't play a certain movie. So, I took my little 300 GB external and
    I put the movie it couldn't play on that......Lo and behold, Xbox played it fine.

    I have read online that this is not an isolated incident. Many Xbox users are having the exact same issue with their external hard drives on anthing past 2 TB.

    So, I turned to the Help on Microsoft. After A LOT of useless [Mod removed- Inappropriate] from the automated help, I finally got to a person, whom called me. Let me tell you this was not a fun maze to get to.

    I finally get a call, she is great and we get cut off.

    I go through the automated maze again to speak to a human.

    This time, I get a male.

    This person is condescending, useless and ignorant to my needs. He is not there to help AT ALL!!!!

    He told me that it was my Hard Drive, which I informed him is working perfectly on everything else I use it on, except the Xbox. I asked why there were so many other users with my same isssue then. He told me that it was the hard drive companies, and
    he would never buy an external drive larger than 2TB anyway. I said well what happens if you can't help someone with their issue. He said it has never happened. I said well you can't help me. He said I just did. I said what? You didn't help me at all.
    I said what is microsoft doing to fix this issure? He said they have many more things ot fix that are more important than my thing and it isn't microsoft, it's my external. I said could you pass it along to microsoft that you couldn't help me. He said
    they don't do that. That the help line doesn't pass on information to microsoft.

    What kind of help line is this????

    What kind of company treats their consumers like literally [Mod removed- Inappropriate] garbage!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You are very welcome! Hopefully,you have had some new news today. If not, just be patient. I know you are aware of what going on with your system, and their are some people just don't
    realize what you are saying . I believe the warranty is good for a year, unless you paid for extended warranty. It was good to hear from you again, keep me posted and best of luck!

    Actually I'm just a gamer trying to help fellow gamers. This what we do in the xbox forums we try to offer help the best we can in understanding and solving issues that sometime occur.

    I would suggest you to review the forum's rules when posting in the future.

    Unfortunately when there is an issue, it seems like all the system is at fault. I understand when you are coming from yet don't blame support for that as the agents answer in base of the info you provide. Still at the end of every communication
    you can rate the support's service.

    I called support for help in fixing what is broken in the Xbox console.

    Did I get a "support" person that would say. I'm sorry, I don't know, why don't I pass this on to a technical person at microsoft. OR We have heard this before, I will pass this on to microsoft.

    NO, I got someone who PASSED THE BUCK!! Oh, it's your external hard drive. It's not us. If the external works along with ALL Movies, data and everything on my external on multiple computers EXCEPT the xbox, then wouldn't ANY person with ANY sense see
    that the only machine that has a problem with the movies IS the XBOX????

    The support people are there to "support".

    If I hired someone to represent my company and that person was telling my customers, basically, that they are
    (Mod Removed-Profanity) , that they shouldn't have bought a large external (by blaming the customer) then blaming another company for a GLITCH in their system and then the "support" pats themselves on their own back by stating that they helped
    me???? What is wrong with this picture.

    Then you come along and defend such an act???

    Have you seen the list of supported HDD's for one and the limitations that the console has with external memories? I'm sorry you had this problem. But don't blame the support.

    Contact Xbox Support     regarding this issue. You can always Request a callback or Request to chat with an agent.
    Thank you, and that is exactly what I did. This is a Ring Around the Rosie type of Help.

    This is how I was treated by doing exactly that. How many will I talk to. How many will pass this on to Microsoft in order for them to look at this Glitch?

    Is there No number where we can call Microsoft? And doesn't that seem ODD to anyone?

    I guess Xbox, and Microsoft doesn't care about it's consumers because it's so large who cares right?
