  1. Finally Left The Cod Shambles...

Well after following Cod from day one and pretty much loving every release since this latest Halo reincarnation I have actually bought a used copy of B4. Having become so angry and sad at the latest Halo wannabe I had to do something. Played a few hours
last night and thus far very impressed and happy to be back playing a proper tactical war game. Very very weird at the moment with the menus and such but the game play is great. A few points thou, can u only set up your classes in actual game play, cant seem
to find how to change attachments on the weapons, and the biggest disapointment no free for all.

    :)

  2. COD World at war 2

They would want to do something extraordinary to make me want a Cod game ever again after the shambles that is Cod Ghost.

    Black Ops 2 Multiplayer Trailer

Black Ops was the better recent CoD.

MW3 was a bit of a shambles in my opinion. Got high hopes for Black Ops 2.

Better late than never. I wouldn't say "no free for all" is a big disappointment. It's just not what BF is about, but different strokes. 64 player Conquest is truly Battlefields bread and butter imo. Sometimes trying to capture a flag can feel a little like
a free for all when it's just you and(hopefully)your squad fending off the opposition while holding out for help from another squad or even a tank.

For me, I would say that the lack of a proper class set up menu is probably my only real big disappointment of the game. You can only set classes when in an actual match, logging into your Origin account and doing it from there or from the Test Range. It's
stupid, I know, but it's probably the only annoying thing I can complain about with the game.

Welcome to what I think is the best console online FPS out right now. At least, I think it is anyway, opinions may vary. There is a bit of a learning curve imo and you'll run into your fair share of frustration, but stick with it. You will get your rear
handed to you until you learn the maps, the classes, their roles and vehicles(if that's your thing-I'm a ground pounder myself). The maps may be the same, but unlike CoD, the battles on those maps are always different in some way or another. Good luck.

@pete the game is designed to work with tablets and smart phones. you can log onto battlelog from any of those devices and modify your kit any time. you can change attachements (if you've earned any - you have to earn them) when you select a weapon.

  6. I just did the same thing about a week ago. I originally was a huge SOCOM gamer back in the PS2/PS3 days until it got kind of stupid and I moved on to Call of Duty. After getting an XB1 and Advanced Warfare (which I promised myself was the last chance I'd
give COD), I just said screw it I am not spending another second on COD except maybe for achievement grinding. BF4 feels a lot more like the way a shooter should be. In COD, as soon as you get shot you know there's no chance to run away, because it just feels
like you die in just two bullets. The maps are always too small, my average time alive is probably 12-20 seconds, the spawns are awful because by your 10th second into being alive someone's already shooting you in the back. BF4 feels a lot more "even" to me.
It still takes quite a few shots to kill someone, but I also feel like I don't die too soon. When I get shot I have time to run quickly around a corner for cover. I do wish they had the weapons class thing going on, but it balances out without the seemingly
overbearing perks and killstreaks crap that COD has going on. BF4 is a breath of fresh air that I much needed (I hadn't realized that I really only played one shooter game for the majority of the last 3-5 years; yikes).

  7. It's the game I bought the console for on day one. It was rushed and had it's flaws when it came out. It was unplayable at times. But now it's fixed and it's the best game too me. This game barely ever comes out of my console. My kids play The COD Games
    - I can't stand them. So many ways to kill or be killed in BF - it's the best.

I always played COD as a kid, and I was always blind to see how good Battlefield was. I'm happy I made the choice to switch. Playing in a Conquest game makes you feel like you are in a total war zone, and it's amazing, if that can be? If anyone wants to
play Battlefield by the way, as I don't have many friends online who do, then feel free to add me.

    Welcome back!

Doesnt look like its been posted yet but there are actually three ways to access and change your loadouts: 1) In game during the multiplayer matches, 2) through the Battlefield Battlelog website, and 3) the Battlefield Battlelog companion app for smartphones.
The app and website allow you to change all your class and vehicle loadouts as well as any weapon mod changes and will then immediately update your game with those changes. They are both easy enough to use that you can pretty quickly update your loadouts between
    multiplayer rounds.
