Finally Got Titanfall

Finally I found this game for $50 instead of $99, Of course I've gone ahead and bought it. I gotta say boys and girls, this is one great Multiplayer game and I think allot of the hype is justified. My only grudge is that the Australian server was down,
played South east Asia just fine though and the U.S conection was actually good. I can see this game and a sequel being successful, I'm happy to dust off my xb1 with a re-newed interest. Oh, I found myself not using the titan on most rounds and I think this
has allot to do with my COD and BF background. I did find the Titans easier to obliterate as a foot soldier instead of a titan, it makes sense since you can conceal yourself allot easier when you're a fraction of the size. Fun times

Halo Finally Fixed

It's really depressing, and given the small population here it's even more difficult. I got an achievement for trying to play again though So, anyone up for Titanfall? I'm finally really getting into this.

I took a sabbatical from TitanFall after Destiny released last year. I finally got fed up with Bungivision's train wreck lagfest and just recently started playing TitanFall again. I am so glad I came back. This game is so much fun and I wonder why I ever
walked away in the first place.

TL; DR

Yeah, it's worth it.

 

The more you play the better with a titan you will be. During the beta I sucked in them, then a few weeks afyer release I could dominate with one.

As a fellow Aussie, I can say it's usually pretty rock solid as far as connection goes. There's the common issue of timing out while in the menu, and you may experience some pain when searching for matches... But apparently the June update will fix some
of these little things.

I've maxed out at G10 lvl50, and have to agree with 24... Give it some time, and give the titans a good crack, you won't regret it.

 

Thanks to state-of-the-art sensors on each and every single Titan, you will have no issues identifying the direction of any attacking enemy and, in many cases, you may even know before they attack if they try to lock on to you, which will give you time to
get to cover or counter-attack. It's an ingenious system, really... Use it to your advantage, pilot, and you just may live long enough to see the next generation!

 

Never really cared for the game, it looks like any other shooter in my eyes, but I am glad you enjoy your purchase, OP!

 

This game is played out in my Opinion.

 

Great game but like any other, never enough maps. Looking forward to the Halo collection for just that reason (Also game #2 with better graphics). Still, good luck with the game, and find good friends to play it with (Just like BF4, you need good team mates
to survive a while in most cases)

 

Titanfall is a solid FPS that mixes up the standard formula with giant mech-like Titans and free-running elements. I understand that some people might not be interested in it or think it's "just another FPS game", but out of all the shooters I've played
recently, this game is actually really good and fun to play.

 

I have been playing this game since launch and I'm still not bored. I love how Respawn Entertainment have tried something new, I was getting bored of FPSs and then this game came along. I love the freedom of movement and the many
different ways of approaching the enemy. I didn't like using Titans at first, but you grow to love them and now I love playing Last Titan Standing because of how tactical it is.

My only complaint is the lack of game modes and weapons.

 

I don't understand why people come on these "I love game xxx" thread just to say "I don't understand the hype or that the game is boring etc."

Anyway - yes the game is awesome. Even months after release the game hasn't got boring - every time I play it there seems to be so many different ways of playing it. And the generations are brilliant because they make you play it differently. But above
all the Cards are genius - they make every play unique. The game gets better the more you play it (which might explain why some people, who maybe haven't played it enough, think it's not as good as the hype).

 

I have a love/hate relationship with the generational challenges. I love the concept because it does get you to try to play with different setups and new gameplay styles, but I find that because it's a requirement, I'm forced to use them even if I don't
want to, which gets annoying. For example, I'm a gen 3 and have to complete challenges using the rail-gun, the SMG, and the satchel charge. To accomplish this and to re-gen as quickly as possible I have all of my classes set up with these 3 items. However,
in doing so, I've limited how I can play to short range as a pilot and sniping as a Titan. It gets very boring doing that, but the alternative is to spend weeks just trying to get to the next gen. Either way, I end up eventually getting bored, either sooner
or later. It's a lose-lose situation. I wish they would keep the challenges so you could level up faster, but not require them so you wouldn't feel stuck, or at least have only ONE generational challenge rather than 3+.

 

I wish the game had more guns and unlocks.

 

I totally agree GG. I really like playing the game, and I can kinda look past the lack of customization and weapons, even though that really hurts the game, but the regen requirements are very frustrating and really bog the game down. I'm in the same boat
as you, stuck on Gen 3. I've completed everything except the dang rail gun challenges. I don't know if it's me, but I can't get a Titan kill with it if my life depended on it.
