Finally got my DLC to work with Battlestations Pacific for Xbox backwards compat!!

Ok, I know there were a couple of long threads that were posted here in around 2019 when Battlestations Pacific first was available on Xbox backwards compat and folks couldn't get the DLC packs to be recognized within the game after installing them. Well
I'm here to say that my Xbox Series One X now reads the DLC just fine and this is what I did.

Before I start, I'm not sure if the new Xbox dashboard has anything to do with this but it would normally be a non issue because its not like you have the choice to not upgrade the Xbox OS running it.

I first had the game running and just for the heck of it I created a ranked match and went to see by the map selection if I could see any of the newer maps the DLC packs would have. After checking that they weren't there, I went into the manage game option,
uninstalled all three DLC titles.From there I went to the see in store option, then to add-ons to which then I proceeded to 'buy' each of the DLC packs(Which by the way I was charged for but wasn't an issue to me because they actually worked!), waited for
the install to finish. After they installed I thought I would have to restart the game, but funny enough the game came up with a notification that the DLC had installed(it never gave me that screen before) and to check in the games options and then select
downloadable content and make sure the content is enabled and voila it worked! Never have I been so excited to see this as I have played around with so many things to get the DLC to work! One thing I never checked out however was the Option/Downloadable
Content to see if the DLC was there the whole time and just disabled. That option is obviously there so that folks can host games with others that don't have the DLC installed. In any case I hope that I have helped others fix this issue so that we can keep
this wonderful game alive!
