Finally bought an Xbox One!!

Loving the Xbox One still, just downloaded Max: Curse of the Brotherhood and installed my free Forza 5 code that came with my Xbox One, can't wait to play some more games!!

 

Max is very underrated; I was actually going to buy it before I found out we were getting it free. I love Titanfall; just been busy. The X1 is a great system; most of my issues with it stem from COD not the system itself. Enjoy your system there's going
to be some great games coming down the pipe.

Someone comes in here and says "I boguht an X1...it sucks" Everyone here turns into a 30 year veteran detective and they all conclude the OP did it in the kitchen with the candle stick and doesn't actually own an X1.

But in this case....everyones like "AWESOME!!!".

So...I flipped it.

OP could have an X1...I don't care....I hope he's happy with whatever floats his boat....could be the new toilet he got...I don't care.

Well done...... I have been 100% satisfied with my X1 and the added support MS has to offer!

Yeah its actually quite a good game!! The Halo one is definitely a mobile/tablet game but still nice to get it for free.

Be interesting to see what is next.

 

Just a quick update. So far I have two minor issues, well they're more annoyances. Firstly, the Kinect voice commands still work extremely well except when it comes to turning the system on. I have to say it three or four times before it hears me and turns
on, is this a common problem? Turning it off works every time.

Secondly I set the Xbox One to turn off after an hour of inactivity as I often fall asleep on the couch watching Netflix but I guess since Netflix has the auto-play feature now, the Xbox One doesn't recognize it as inactive. Left it on all night last night...
I would watch Netflix on my 360 and it would turn off after two hours or whatever it was.

Everything else is great though, can't wait to get home and start Chapter 2 of Max: CotB!!

 

I too have this issue with the "Xbox On" command. As you said all of the other voice commands work quite well, but the Xbox On command I have always had a problem with. I have re-configured the kinect, turned the volume up during the refig, re-positioned
the kinect all to no avail. Because of this, I just keep it on the power saving mode. I'm not sure if some Xbox One consoles are more sensitive than others or if we are doing something wrong during the kinect set-up. Anyhow, I love my Xbox One!
