Finally bought an Xbox One!!

Welcome to next gen. One thing I like to suggest is make sure you calibrate your tv using the xbox one, I can't speak for everyone but it helped make my games look a lot better after I calibrated.

I had a friend who currently played Ryse, and as far as reviews go, he said it was very entertaining to say the least. And well, let's just say he hasn't got the longest attention span I've ever seen (;

Love Titanfall, as far as setup time goes, I don't think that they changed anything, but since there is a good bit of downloading connection speed can effect the time it takes to setup the system. It took me around a hour as well, but I know so folk who
would have much longer connection times because of slow internet speeds. Anyhow enjoy the console!

 

Thanks everyone. @Captain Nemo uk - I did use that and it helped out quite a bit, apparently my contrast and brightness was off.

@BizarroMantis - Haha, why would you assume that? I've been an Xbox supporter since the launch of the original Xbox. Of course I've had my fair share of complaints or issues with each Xbox console but I'm not one to just rant on something. So far the Xbox
One has exceeded my expectations, just wish I had more games for it!!!

@Galactic Geek - Free is good but I hate fighting games, sorry.

 

I'm glad you like it. I love it too except for the Kinect.

You'll be happy to know that there are monthly updates that make it better and better. Have fun with it.

 

Grats on the upgrade, but whats really exciting is that the games/console is only going to get better and better!
