    Finally applied update 17150 but can't connect to XBL


    After multiple failed attempts to apply the most recent I update, I finally succeeded via USB. But when I restart the console it asked me verify my security settings (email/password) but won't accept them. They're the same details I'm using to login on the
    forum now so they must be correct. But XBL via the console won't accept them.

    Confused. Any idea?

    Xbox Live Beta, now I can't connect to XBL!

    I got the Beta for the new update for XBL and it worked fine but all of a sudden one day it wouldn't connect me to XBL. It says it can connect to the internet but not to XBL. I waited until the actual update came out but I don't think I can get it since
    I can't connect to XBL. I need serious help, I've been without XBL for at least a month or so! :/

    Try going to ACCOUNT.LIVE.COM and updating all your security proofs/settings, Another good thing to try is changing your Password and Re-downloading your profile,

    If that doesn't work reply and we'll figure something else out.

    Are you getting an error code? I just had the same thing with this code:
    support.xbox.com/.../error-code-80072ef3

    Ran through the solutions and reset the console and it seems fine again now. Not sure if the fixes worked or it was an issue with xbl that resolved itself during the time I was troubleshooting, but it's working now for me, so give it a go.

    Are you getting an error code? I just had the same thing with this code:

    Ran through the solutions and reset the console and it seems fine again now. Not sure if the fixes worked or it was an issue with xbl that resolved itself during the time I was troubleshooting, but it's working now for me, so give it a go.

    Try going to ACCOUNT.LIVE.COM and updating all your security proofs/settings, Another good thing to try is changing your Password and Re-downloading your profile,

    If that doesn't work reply and we'll figure something else out.

    Xbox 360 Slip 4 GB S Update Failure - Can't Connect to Xbox Live

    So I tried tricks like the 2nd set of numbers is hexadecimal, so you put it in a hexidecimal converter and it was coming up 17148. Which was the update I was trying to install, but is failing. I noticed that the Xbox download is now 17150. I've tried
    both 17148 and 17150 USB, CD, and via wired Xbox Live and they keep failing. Tried removing the hard drive, reformatting the 4GB system memory, nothing works. But, on the 17150 update I get the error code 417F-42FE-1900-267F-C000-0185. I can play some games,
    but cannot access anything Xbox Live. What good is a 360 without Xbox Live???? At least reply "we're working on a solution and will notify when it is resolved."

    to XBL. I put in NCAA 14, and it had an update. Tried to apply the update and things haven't been the same since. Haven't been able to connect to live on both consoles, one wired the other wireless.

    No...that might be a good idea...Has there been any updates on xbl? I can't connect to xbl for about 2 weeks, that might also help the issue.
