Final Fight Double Impact - own on 360 but can't install on Xbox One

I've been trying to download Final Fight on backwards compatability but am having no luck at all. I own it on 360, have double checked that the license is there on the Xbox website but the game isn't available in my ready to install queue for Xbox One and
the marketplace listing is missing the install button. I've got quite a few other BC games and haven't encountered this issue before. I've done all the recommended steps such as hard resets, deleting and re-downloading profiles and so on but they haven't done
any good.

I've gone through the whole process with support who were stumped and suggested that I post here for an engineer to pick up the issue. I'd be grateful for any assistance.

I am having the exact same problem and have just finished with support myself to no avail. I'm glad it's not just me.

 

I've just done the same for almost 3 hours and they say they have been told there is a issue!

Sorry to hear you're all having trouble with this. Just to make sure, do you all have your regions set to your physical locale? Cross-region accounts can cause trouble downloading content do to regional availability.

Also, to make sure if you visit the
store page does it show that the content has already been purchased or does it give you the option to purchase it? Let us know what's up

I've spoken to an assistant who told me the new backward compatible games where released pmt and I should wait 24 hours to get it the uk which I did and well still no game, so hopefully will be all sorted tomorrow on an "official release day" just strange
that frogged and fairy land thing majjigy thing works already so well who know,

I go on the Xbox Marketplace website and the option is there to buy the game but once I click on it it tells me I already own it, which I do. But it is not appearing in my Ready To Install list or able to download from the Xbox Store on the console.

 

I'm having the same issue as well, got it on my 360 but when I go to the game hub it let's me pin it but no option to install - says Bundle Only.

 

I'll jump on this thread as I am having the exact same problem, tried downloading it from the store on my PC, it says that I have already purchased it but with other people it doesn't appear in my install list. Go to the game hub and there is an option to
launch the game but it takes me back to the marketplace.

 

I'm having the same issue:

- Store region and location are both OK. I haven't changed it since 2009.

- License is OK. I run the game without any issues in my Xbox 360.

The game does not appears on my Ready to Install list. There's a "launch game" on the game hub and sends me back to the market place.

Taking a look at the 360's marketplace using my old 360, it shows that the game can be used on XB1.

Did master reset to the console, dashboard refresh, none of my uninstalled games and/or apps are hidden.

Some people on Reedit and Facebook were reporting the same issue and one of my friends, is having the same issue as well.

 

Hey guys Final Fight Double Impact is included in the Capcom Digital Collection for XBox 360 I tried installing from disc but nothing. Does anyone know if it would install since it is on a compilation disc?

Has anyone even tried this?

 

Some people in NeoGaf (backwards compatibility thread) and Reddit are reporting that some users in the xb preview forums found that changing the console region to USA (or UK) is the only way they could download the game, and as soon as the game is downloaded
you are free to restore previous console location and the game works.

At least one guy in NeoGaf showed a tweet (from a japanese gamer) claiming that using the Digital Collection disc is the only way he could download it.

I for one, live in Mexico and haven't tried it yet as I'm not at home. So I don't know if it really works or not.

 

Hi guys, i am in the UK, i could not d/l it either. I can confirm you need to change your location to the USA, reset the xbox, then it will download. You can change your country back to your country of origin afterwards and play it no problem. Oh and both
games are awesome (especially the magic game), well worth the download hassle
