Final Fantasy XV Startup and Menu Extremely Laggy

I recently just reinstalled ffxv on my xbox one s. On startup, I noticed unusual lag from even the loading icon. The menu loaded as slow as molasses. Even when the menu finished loading, navigating through menu seems to be unresponsive. I cant press on anything
or navigate up and down on the menu. I noticed that the fading effect on the pointer (glove with a pointing finger) was really laggy. What I mean is that the glove's movement left to right was really slow. I reinstalled the game and restarted my console but
nothing helped. Due to this I cannot even start the game. Please help.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
