When is Square going to release Final Fantasy XV? (originally called XIII Versus first announced... close your eyes.... 2 0 0 6). I find bizzaro's kind of funny too. Girly boys and tomboys (aka Lightning). You get a crack out of it but we like-like
the graphics. Final Fantasy XIII was praised for it's graphics even tho on the Xbox 360 it's a 3 disc game and runs only at 576p but I would argue some bits run at 1080p or at least 720p like the cutscenes. I'm sure Cloud is into it I think it's an underlying
reason to his GT. One of my friends who is 12 said "you're playing Final Fantasy?!" he saw me playing it a few months ago on Xbox. Xbox has a v a r I e t y of games to suite everyone's tastes. Being a girly boy when your a teen 20s maybe.... 30s is
ok but I'd just laugh at 40s. O well, everyone is different ;D

FF is too "over the top" for my tastes regarding its Japanese heritage and anime-style preferences.

i'm on the fence about this game, i'm not really that interested in Type 0, but i really want to play the demo of FF XV.

 

I wasn't going to bother straight away, I was going to wait a little but I posted yesterday that I was lucky and won a copy of this and Battlefield Hardline in a competition I entered

you should come back and give impressions on the demo.

 

I'll be giving this a good go as from this Friday so will post my thoughts.

 

Type 0 ,from what i saw seems to be a "darker" Final Fantasy,to have a good and interesting gameplay with some RTS features.

But called it "HD" ,visuals and animations looks outdated (even for a Xbox 360) and gamepad controls doesn't seems to be optimized (especially the camera).

And on top of that ,it's $60 for a 4 years old handheld console game.

Nothing can justify this price (and a HD tag),not even a demo.

Guess what, Final Fantasy XIII was my first Xbox 360 game (I joined late 2010). That game was praised for it's graphics and battle mechanics. I liked the characters, even if the story was too linear. A linear story isn't always bad. XIII was also my first
Final Fantasy game I got. I was debating either getting it for Xbox 360 or PS3 since I needed/wanted a video game console. Xbox won me over. It was also the year the Xbox 360 SLIM console came out in Australia/New Zealand.

I like the ideas of Final Fantasy. Some may say it's filled with girly-boys, but I get a laugh out of that. I haven't checked the reviews but over here it's not coming out until the 19th. I would rate it a straight "like".

 

Not interested in Final Fantasy all of that much, but my brother loves the series, so I'll forward this to him. Thanks for the info! I'm sure he'll appreciate it.

 

smiles you need to go back and play some of the older titles. Graphically some of them may be dated but as far as quality of game they blow XIII out of the water.

 

From what I've seen of the Final Fantasy XV trailers you are part of a boy band that goes on a camping trip.

Pretty much this. Bad Characters result simply in, I'll stay away.

If it turns out to be 100% win, well I'll again evaluate it then and maybe pick it up being dirt cheap.

 

I'll probably avoid it for these two reasons:

"Final Fantasy Type-0's storytelling is so disjointed, it took me hours before I had a grasp on what was actually going on. Major narrative arcs are introduced and discarded at random, and even after 22+ hours I still couldn't tell you who some of the
characters were, let alone why they did the things they did.

Trying to control Type-0's camera is like trying to read a book while riding a rollercoaster, and as you roam through the cities and battlefields of Orience, you'll have to grit your teeth and deal with the nausea of a camera that just won't get out
of your way."
