Discus and support Filtering MAC address??? in XboX Networking Hardware to solve the problem; Filtering MAC address??? I cannot connect my xbox to the internet. something about filtering out MAC addresses. How to i fix this so I don't end up...     I cannot connect my xbox to the internet. something about filtering out MAC addresses. How to i fix this so I don't end up throwing my xbox away???

    What is the exact make and model number of your router? Where exactly are you getting this error message about turning off mac address filtering when you attempt to connect to LIVE?

    I have gone on the configuration page and there is no option and I turned off the firewall and it still does not work.

    It could be a configuration on your modem/router, you can try to hard reset it, most routers have a small button to reset, push and hold for about 30 seconds.

    can you help me figure out if my router is filtering Mac addresses?

    go to settings on ur xbox then advanced settings click on alternate Mac address and hit clear. It’ll reset and then it’ll connect
