    Films & Movies auto dimming


    Just bought Black Panther UHD version. When I go to play the movie it auto dims and makes it very hard to see anything. When I exit out of the movie everything brightens up again...anyone else having the same problem?

    Screen auto-dimming after 10 minutes

    While watching HBO Now, the screen will dim after about 10 minutes. I can't find a setting to turn the auto dimming feature off.

    Xbox One dimming while watching Netflix

    Just came in here from googling on this issue, as it's happening to me. Plain Xbox One, no preview program, dimming while I'm trying to watch a movie.

    No, there isn't a way officially. You could tape a piece of dark plastic film over the buttons, so it dims for you.

    Yep, same problem when streaming a film from my PC to the Xbox. It dims every 10 minutes or so.

    I myself thought it dimmed as you started a film or played a game so that it doesn't become a distraction :p It might be something else though

    Check the settings on the TV with the TV remote Menu.
