    Film and Tv app freezes for tv shows


    we're using the microsoft film and tv app and whenever we try to watch a tv show it freezes every few seconds. Sometimes the audio continues while the screen freezes, sometimes it all stops. It makes it impossible to watch. Strangely we have no problem with
    movies.

    netflix works fine and we can stream via other apps so I don't think it's our connection.

    weve deleted and redownloaded the app multiple times.

    any ideas?

    I am unable to play videos using Films and TV app on windows 10 mobile. It shows the error code: 0x800706ba and says go to www.xbox.com/support.

    Films and TV app issues

    Hello,

    In the last few days the Films and TV app has been having a few issues. It loses quality, constantly buffers, the sound goes out of sync with the pictures, and it seems to skip back a few frames occasionally.

    I'm on a cable connection (Optus), the Xbox is wired directly into the cable modem, and I have no issues with streaming using the Films and TV app on a Windows 10 PC on the same network.

    Please help - content is pretty much unwatchable at the moment.

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
    the console.
