files deletion in xbox

i recently found out that microsoft edge had launched their update . i wanted it on my xbox so i went to microsoft edge update on edge on xbox one i downloaded the .exe file and it couldnt work so is there some way to delete it ?

The file explorer app is in the process of being removed, which you would be able to remove a .exe off your console. but i think it's either gone, or lost its functionality.

When putting apps on your xbox, don't use an external or 3rd party method to get it on, use the xbox store on the console for safety.

factory reset keeping your games & apps a shot.

ok so there is no app to check which files are downloaded on my xbox

Hi there,

you can't change or install any apps by downloading the .exe or installer file on the Xbox One console.

Apps can only updated via My Games and Apps or installed via the Store on the console.

I don't think there is a way to delete anything that was downloaded via a browser on the console, it might already be automatically deleted too, but there is no way to check that as far as I know.
