Files are constantly being corrupted or freeze (Xbox 360)

So, I got 2 new flash drives for me 360. Both are the same brand and are 64 gbs to replace my old 32gb and 16gb drives, plus my 60gb hard drive I'very had for over a year. I've had so many problems, it's making me rip my hair out. Upon trying to transfer
files, they almost always get corrupted during the process, and won't show up to be deleted. So there's "phantom space" as I call it being taken up by these undeletable, unfindable files. Downloading is a complete pain in the *** too. The ONLY game to work
is Titanfall with all the dlc, that, I had no problems with AFTER I formatted it because of the Phantom space issue. I re-downloaded Portal 2, for old times sake. Whenever I launch it off of my profile, it launches fine, then 2 seconds after, it freezes my
entire console. I hit the power button and it IMMEDIATELY turns off, just like when a game crashes. When I tried to move Portal 2 to my other Flash, it corrupted. Just now when I was downloading the Orange Box, it said "Can't download the Orange Box" and when
I pressed "continue download", it just goes away. Now I'm left with a 40kb corrupted file that's taking up 4 gigs of phantom space. My other flash has 30 gigs taken by telephone phantom space, and I'm about to just break both flash drives and go back to my
old ones. I've already lost plenty of saves, and I'm afraid to move anything, it's pathetic. In 2016, I should be able to USE my storage without fear of corruption ever 10 seconds. This has rendered digital games like Gta V COMPLETELY unplayable, as the install
packages were initially corrupted, and now display the same "can't download" message on every attempt. Please someone help, I'm so fed up with this BS.

    :)

    Xbox 360 Game Loading Problem

One of my Fable 3 saved profiles will not load. It freezes on the loading screen. The other four Fable 3 saved profiles that I have under my Xbox 360 Profile work, so I know it's not my Xbox 360 Profile; the game works on the other Xbox 360 profiles so
it's not the disk or my Xbox 360 system; I don't use or have ever used Xbox Live on my 360; It doesn't say that the saved file is corrupted when I choose it to load or when choosing to move it from or to an external hard drive, it just freezes while loading.
I tried installing it then uninstalling the game both on the hard drive and on two different usb sticks, signing out then back in to my profile.

The one that doesn't load works when playing multiplayer though. I can trade items and fight in battles when doing multiplayer, but it doesn't load if I choose to play it on its own. Is there some bug/glitch in that saved file, or is it actually a corrupted
save file? Is there a way to fix this?

    Fallout 4 flat out crashing?

I have mine installed on my internal 1tb HD. Ive not had ANY framerate drops or freezes, but I have had several corrupted save files. I just learned my lesson and save 2 or 3 times before I log off.

    UPDATE:

I'm formatting both drives, I'm gonna see what the hell is going on with these drives, because I didn't pay good money for a whole lot of nothing and lost saves, as well as A LOT of time. I'll keep this updated.

I put in all the necessary ports into my router, but I keep getting DOS'd. Not to the unusable point it used to get to, but still slow. I wonder if that f's it up. I even switched one flash drive back to my old 32 gb. I should also mention these flash drives
were $7.58 on ebay each, from a company. Hell, there isn't even a brand I can trace it on. Maybe that's the problem? I've traced it down to that or for whatever reason my console can't have more than one download on my download list and one being downloaded
to my flash drive on that list. Thanks for your help, I'm gonna go to bed with Battlefield Bad Co 2 downloading. Let's hope this works.

It could simply be the flash drives themselves. As I understand it, flash drives are notoriously unreliable. I would suggest trying an official Xbox HDD. You can also get an external HDD up to 2TB in size running USB 3.0 (the console will accept two of these).
I'm using an official 500GB HDD and I Western Digital 2TB external HDD with no problems. The reason why I suggest the official drive is that some games will require it for installation or download.

Hey there Files are constantly being corrupted or freeze (Xbox 360) :)

I'm really sorry to hear about all the troubles you've gone through. If you don't have anything important on those flash drives I'd suggest doing a few stress tests on them and see if they handle the workloads. This should show you if they are functioning
properly or not. As a Western Digital representative I can't really recommend any specific tools, but you should be looking for such applications that completely fill your flash drive with data, erase it, test the speed and can do this cycle multiple times.
This should give you an idea if the drives work properly or not. Again, such tests wipe all data from the drive so I'd back up anything important on them first.

As HyruleBalverine suggested, the drives themselves might be causing this and a better option may be a simple external HDD for much larger storage space and less issues. I could suggest checking out
WD's external portable drives and see if any of them appeal to you. Feel free to ask if you have questions about any of them.

WD My Passport X is designed specifically for Xbox gamers, comes with a great design and preformatted and pretty much ready to go so you can also check that out.

Ok, so I have come to a conclusion for now. My old 32gb flash drive is working phenomenally, perfect with no problems. The other remaining flash drive remains useless. I've filled it with memory and formatted it multiple times, and it's gotten worse every
time. I've narrowed it all down to the bad, offbrand flash drives. Captain WD, I like your advertising. XD I think I may check out some WD flash drives soon, but I'm sticking with brands I know for NOW. I don't need all the space in the world, and I'm picking
up a Lexar 128 gb flash drive from my local staples tomorrow. I'm just glad I can reinstall my Black Ops dlc and play with Backwards Compatibility n00bs. Files are constantly being corrupted or freeze (Xbox 360) :Do Thanks so much for your help, and I will check this as answered if the Lexar works tomorrow.
