File system error (-2015294512) Among Us

That is weird as I checked my devices and the games, I have installed under the folders I created are visible. Does your computer have a secondary drive, or do you have an external we can test? If you have either lets, go ahead and do the following?

Once you have done this, let's go ahead and open the Xbox app and assign it to the drive you just formatted. Name the folder Test, like we did before and install a small game and then go to the location of the folder via file explorer and let me know if that fixed the problem. I will reach out to one of my team members and see if i can get some suggestions to resolve this issue.

The Xbox app was updated and now allows you to create folders and location on where you want to install your games and easily access the files. May I suggest that you

1. Open Xbox app
   
2. Click on your profile icon and go to settings
   
3. Then General
   
4. Game install options
   
5. Then change folder and choose a different location or drive and name the folder "GameTest"
   

Then attempt to install the game and see if you have any issues. If the problem is fixed by doing that, then going forward you can install your games to that folder and location.

Done all 4 . No luck still the same error.

My computer has 1 HDD and 2 SSDs.

Just formatted a USB for a small game. Created a folder called test for its location. Still no help. The test folder is empty and the system error stills shows the game is in "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps" instead of "E:\Test".

I noticed a folder was created in the USB called "WindowsApps" and this has the game files in it (E:\WindowsApps\RawFury.Townscaper_1.1.6.0_x64__9s0pnehqffj7t), but my computer shows the error is coming from my main drive (C.

Thank you for letting me know that the suggestions I provided did not work for you. My next question is, are you installing this game on an external or secondary HDD. The reason I am asking is that I was able to reproduce the issue you were reporting on one of the 4 machines I installed this game. I then installed on it on my main drive on the device that gave me the error and it worked. I then moved the game to the secondary drive with no issue. Since then, I have not been able to reproduce the error. With regards to File system error, let's try to run windows troubleshooter, which i will put the link and steps below. Let's see if that works, as there might be something that is affecting that specific game on your end.

f you get an error code while downloading and installing Windows updates, the Update Troubleshooter can help resolve the problem. Make sure to choose Run update troubleshoot and Windows app.

Are there other games that are giving you issues, besides Among us? Try this and let's see if that solves the problem. Also, if you do have another drive, try to install it on a different hard drive.
