    hello, i'd like to ask about the vcruntime140.dll how can i fix this problem?

    i already have vcruntime140.dll in my system32 but everytime i open my program it says that it's not there

    This file (vcruntime140.dll) is included with the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio package. Please download and install it:

    After you install it, please restart your computer and see how it goes.

    If the issue persists, please tell me what program/game is asking for this .dll file and please try to share a screenshot of the error message.

    I'm having the same problem. I was working up until a few weeks ago and now nothing. Media Player sees my Windows 7 machine, but when you open it you get files not found. I've tried rebuilding the libraries and even reinstalling Media Player 12 but still
    nothing. I'm currently using Plex media server on the PC but that seems to be 50/50 as to whether is shows up at all in the Media player app.

    This is further complicated as my 360 also shows the PC but also can't find any files. I'm 99% certain the issue is Windows media sharing related but can't nail down what or why. I've been through the usual disabling firewalls, checking allowing media streaming
    is enabled in MP12.

    Save files not found???

    Please note that even if i wanted to just start the games all over again (which i do not), my problem would still exist. It will just keep asking where to save game and then keep saving it can't find file. It can't get to the point where i would choose to
    start a new game.

    My HDD is definitely still connected as i can access other files on it as normal.

    Also there is no chance that anyone else has touched my xbox or that i even thought about deleting the files (so don't ask that question)
