    Hey yea so i was trying to install a mod on a game and it says that my game file is locked. i go to the original file, locked. go to properties, locked by system would you heppen to know how to override this feature?

    Are you sure the game supports mods

    The xbox app files are encrypted

    You have to check the games actual store page to see if it supports it

    Unless you are talking aboit steam

    You can only edit the file one person at a time, just like any document on your computer, once the file is opened, it will be locked by the person making the changes, until he closes that document and releases the lock.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. As we are unable to discuss mods. The files are locked as per Microsoft. You will not be able to access these files at all. The reason is so they are not tampered with, which is what you are trying. As there is nothing we
    can do to help I will be locking this thread.
