I'm not sure you can do it mate, as OS X uses a different file system.

If you have access to a Windows PC, hook the drive up, open Windows Explorer/File Explorer, right-click on the drive and choose "Format" and a small window will pop up. Set "File system" to "NTFS (Default)" and then hit Start.

I managed to figure out a way to do it involving an app off the app store. I downloaded Files&Folders, went to personalization in its side menu, and enabled the Pictures folder. Was able to delete it that way. Still would be nice to be able to do so within
the system itself, rather than a 3rd party app.

As stated by the
Xbox Insider Twitter page, "The app has been removed due to limited usage." If there are any features that you would like to see in the future we recommend that you use the
Xbox Idea Hub, as this is an outlet that is used directly by the engineers that work on the Xbox directly.
