File Explorer and Signing out

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about the absence of the File Explorer app on your console.

As stated via the
Xbox Insider Twitter page: "The app has been removed due to limited usage."

As far as why you are kicked out of a game or app whenever you log out, is due to being a change in the signed in profile, and in order to prevent any corruption of data, your console attempts to restart the game or app, or at least kick you back to the
Title screen.

I hope this was able to clarify any confusion this might have caused.

Xbox Idea Hub, as this is an outlet that is used directly by the engineers that work on the Xbox directly.

That’s disappointing... I haven’t had to use it in a while but it was something I’ve had to use in the past.
