Figuring Out The "Upgraded" Weapons.

I guess we can add information here for these new weapon varients that get rewarded to us from time to time. I have a few questions. If you get a varient of the AK12 and it has plus on handling, but minus for accuracy, can you add a sight or lasor to it
to make the weapon "better". Is this what these varients are for? Maybe add attachments to the minus parts/stats of that varient weapon and make it "better than normal"? Discuss.

Figuring out my "Disc Drive Issue".

You're lucky you still have the blu-ray drive clunking noise on startup! lol

After...I think the February Updates, my Xbox One (which was perfect, mind you!) neglects to initialize the blu ray drive if I use the "instant-on" feature (now, I have to wake it up manually, by pressing the eject button to hear the clunking noise). Then
I opted out of the preview beta...and it still hasnt come back to normal.

Man. Microsoft is slacking. smh.

You got any way of recording a video or anything of the sound? After the March update I recorded videos of disc drive seeking noise and after my videos were passed on to the devs they released a fix for it during the April update.

My Xbox too has started making a random 1 second bumping sort of sound but it happens intermittently and doesn't seem to be causing any other problems, I'd be interested in seeing if it's the same as what you're talking about though, if it is, it's likely
caused by an update and can be fixed with another update.

 

You can aways add attachments - but if the variant gun already has an attachment ( AK12 Grenader ) that attachment is locked on the gun and can't be taken off

 

I havent gotten any with attachments yet, but they still have attributes like +2 handling or something. I figure just add something other than would help with handling and the rifle would be better than the "normal" rifle with those added attachments.

 

I'm VERY UPSET/ANNOYED about weapon variants with a attachment taking up a slot. C'MON SLEDGEHAMMER, IF IT CAME WITH A ATTACHMENT FOR FREE WHY DOES IT TAKE UP ONE OF MY FREE SLOTS?? ALSO WHEN THE ATTACHMENT IS NOT UNLOCKED WHY DO I HAVE TO UNLOCK IT SO
I CAN USE IT...... STUPID IMO! ITS FREE, RIGHT??

 

I have the mk14 variant and you can't add a sight on it. Hey people its their variant of the gun. Your variant is the one you make from the base. Some crying people on these forums. Guess that is what the forums are for.

 

Yeah, I just unlocked a varient of a weapon last night and I could not add anything other than a sight.

 

You do not understand what I am saying or you are just trolling the thread juandogs. No issue with receiving any weapon variant from Sledgehammer, but why must they take up an attachment slot. Why not offer the attachment while still having the two weapon
attachment slots available. That's all.

 

Hmm is this real. I think I have weapons with attachments which don't take up a slot. I double check later.
