Figured out why the COD: AW bundle codes don't work

I think i've figured out what's going on here...

Inside the new console bundle is the COD AW "Limited Edition" keycode... That doesn't come out until tomorrow.

However "Best Buy", where I purchased my XBox One Bundle console, advertised the Day Zero edition in the box. Nowhere on the box however, or in the box does it say anything about early access.

I believe a lot of us were duped and the codes will work tomorrow.

same problem. brand new x1 aw bundle, says code not found, but the other 3 codes worked fine

Getting the same thing, brand new X1 AW Bundle, and game code doesn't work, but all the other codes do. Says that the "Code can't be found" wondering if it has to do with the service issue for the 14 day trial.

 

If you read the item description on the Bestbuy page you will see that the bundle is the Day Zero edition and seeing as this is the limited edition there is no reason for them not to make this a day zero edition. Someone did make a post of a customer rep
saying that they *** up and put in the code for the regular game instead of the day zero version.

 

It appears as though that is exactly what happened. The bestbuy website (and in store) does indeed say "Zero Edition". This may be Best Buy's fault.

 

I'm pretty sure there is only one version of the bundle and it's the DZ one.

 

Nope, even on the Microsoft website the bundle says Day Zero:

I just double check and it looks the MS store has the same one as what BB has, it's either MS's fault or Activison's fault not bestbuys because all they do is just sell it.

 

I got my bundle at game stop and my codes don't work either. I'm starting to believe that Xbox doesn't care about customer service and getting things done right the first time. It's all about the money and at our expense. They knew that the codes wouldn't
work, the system is tested and working before deemed ready for release. They would just use it as an excuse to burn us out of the early access and double xp. It's a shame Xbox has forgotten customer service. Customers have made them as big as they are.

 

The reason the codes don't work is because of Activision. Been on the phone with Xbox and Activision. Activision said it was on they're end.

 

I've been talking to both Xbox and Activision, and Activision told me it's all on Xbox's end. And Xbox customer service says "I wish I can say otherwise, but this is an issue related to the game servers -- something that Microsoft has no control nor access
to." So.... what now? What are we expected to do? After spending our early access day frustrated and given the run around, we better get SOMETHING to compensate for this BS.

 

xbox is going back tomorrow I recommend everyone else do the same.

 

Super not happy about this. Clearly it was the wrong code in the bundles. It just let me start download now. They had better have a plan to make this right, dropped $500 and didn't even get to see the game, and definitely didn't get any 2XP. I live on the
East Coast of the U.S. Day Zero just rolled into Day One.

 

Yep we were right. Wrong code. Now I'm wondering why the first xbox rep I talked with seemed so sure it would work in 2-4 hours. She promised me, and sure enough, 2 hours later its 12am east coast and its downloading... just fantastic.

 

I don't know what we can do about this lie but it can't go unchecked. We MUST be compensated for this bs.
