Fighting Games?

So, since MS/ Capcom failed 100% with not having SFV multiplat does anyone know or have heard anything if the Xbox One is getting any Fighting Games? No, I don't count KI, I never liked KI way back to the Arcades and SNES Port.
Oh yeah lol, there's that Kinect "fighting" thing... lol



Xbox One is starting to look pretty dry unless its a FPS.

Mortal Kombat X is currently the only game I can think of. I'm sure both consoles will get a plethora of fighting games further into their life cycle, it's an immensely popular genre.

 

Elite Effect, I know MK will make it to the Xbox One but that leaves a pretty flat choice for Fighting Games. You can play KI or MK or Kinect Thing. I knew MK was going to be suggested as well. I should have included that in my
OP that I have never been big on MK either. I played MK (the first one) for the Arcade Glitches and that was about it.

I would be happy at this point if Skull Girls or Blaze Blue was available. MS let DOA slide away now SF. What's next? Maybe I can pick from the over-saturated FPS Genre that is available on the Xbox One?

Thank you SUNR1DER. Any word on when? Hopefully soon and not 2016/ 2017. I would love a DOA in Next Gen and even a Blaze Blue. I'm starting to really miss SF... sad face.

February the 17th is good. Now maybe the Marketplace won't look like a bunch of Characters for KI (only).

 

I am a fan of Street Fighter... and I am disappointed in the fact that the 4 letter word company snatched up exclusivity for Street Fighter 5. But I am over it. I personally have always like Dead or Alive better.

I can not wait for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round.

 

I grew up with SF so I'm upset about it too, but with KI & MKX to tide me over, I'm good.

 

Xbox needs to get on the ball make USF4 BC and 3rd strike and they need to get another fighter KI has 7million players for a reason it is all they have. Get the rights to Capcom VS SNK 2 or some of the NEO GEO games I love xbox but i am a fighting game fan
and right now p4 is getting all the good stuff .Also start making the xbox 360 arcade sticks work for xbox one it will help as well OH and make all fighting games on 360 BC i have them all

 

^ As someone who also has a PS4, please enlighten me of all the good stuff they have that I'm apparently missing.


I personally like MKX or DOA5LR better than KI.
