Fiffa 14 digital booted to dash

Ok here's the situation that myself and my friend are trying to figure out. He purchased the game for our house hold and we have the home xbox sharing set up, but the problem we are having is that if we try to play together we can't connect I get booted
to the dashboard every time. We are thinking it has something to do with sharing the game that we can play others, but not each other? Who has experience with this. Also he can't even connect to any other players he just gets opponent found connection lost.
We've tried opening ports deleting files etc nothing works.

in career mode i can only play one game and when i press a to advance it always kicks me to xbox home screen i can play only limited online games and have done the clear pesistent storage and hold on/off button for 5-10 secs ,uninstalled and installed again
,been told i had a problem with internet the ping or sumat but internet provider said nothing wrong with it ive even changed disc and put a new one in and still same

ive got it with fiffa 14 play one career game and then goes to home screen but EA told me i had a problem with internet (my ping isnt working or sumat like that )
