Hi Guys i play online and whenever i set or change formation it changes itself again and again.

Hello there!

One suggestion, try performing a console restart. This is done by the following process:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
   Note Pressing the Xbox button will open the guide from any other screen on the console.
   
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Restart console.
4. Select Yes to confirm.

it seems that this is a game issue. If you can give us more details we can try to help you but I think that the best way is to submit this issue to the official game support or in the official forums.

 

Looks like a known bug with FIFA 19:

Solved: Formation changes by itself during the game (FIFA 19) - Answer HQ

One of the posts there offers a possible solution/work around though:

"Problem solved. You have to create a game plan for your squad first. Go to tactics and edit game plan. There you can choose between ultra defensive, defensive, offensive, and ultra offensive. For each of these tactics you can save a formation for example
4-3-3(4) for the ultra offensive tactic. Then when you play the game and change the tactics from balanced to ultra offensive, the formation will also change to the one assigned to the particular tactics. For example from balanced (4-4-2) to ultra offensive
(4-3-3)(4)."

 

Thanks for your response this is a programming error from FIFA why there is no patch done for this already its really irritating. i usually play 4-3-3 attack or 4-2-4 all attach when i go ultra offensive but online u dont have all the time to do all this.

 

It's probably more than just irritating. Something so simple should never had made it into a public release.
