FIFA14 does not start on Xbox One

I am still having this problem as well I have the Fifia that came with the bundle, I have tried the following:

Hard reboot

removed all power for 30 secs

un-install & reinstall game

un-install & reinstall my profile

Purchased EA access pass to get a 2nd copy of the game....that didn't work !

Restored Factory settings

Reinstalled everything AGAIN

I have spoken to XBOX & EA several times and we just keep going ove the steps listed above !

Any ideas if there is an update on this ?

I feel my only option now is to BUY a hard copy and hope this works ..... but might just move to PES instead

It might be a corrupted installation of the game. I would recommend uninstalling it and reinstalling it to see if that helps.

I tried to deinstalled and installed again but it still doesn't works to me!

 

At what point of the starting process does your Fifa fail? And does it give you any messages then?

After a search on the internet, it would appear that several others have been experiencing the same issue with no definitive solution.

Just to clarify, you did do the hard reset, i.e. holding the power button down for 10 seconds?

Bob McFly - it seems to do this on the front screen with the big picture of Messi just after the "autosave" promt screen at every occasion

Zinacef - Yes I have done the hard re-boot on several occasions, I also saw a few different threads with the same issues.... the only Fix that seems to have worked is to create a whole new gamer profile....which I am NOT doing as had this one for about 7
years now from the days of the original Xbox ( and i still have gold on this for 9 months)

 

Ah ok, so at the moment when it tries to access the internet to download your profile. I had that earlier by myself. My workaround on this was to first start the Internet Explorer and open any site there, kept it open, minimized the internet Explorer and
the started Fifa. Worked nearly everytime. Give this maybe a try, even if it sounds pretty funny.

An other thing is maybe that it looks like Fifa uses an additional port to connect. So if you are on portforwarding try to add port 42920 TCP and UDP. If you are on DMZ or similar this current concern you.

 

Thanks Bob ill give that a try tonight with the internet thing.... sounds crazy but will prob work knowing xbox, as for the port thing sorry but that is lost on me hopefully wont need to start going down that root if the internet fix works

 

Well am in the same boat done everything i could think to do no joy here this only started the other day for me never had this problem before bought the game from the xbox 1 store when it 1st came out

 

Bob McFly - That was a no go on the Internet trick.... And to follow on from that I have now bought a hard copy of the game and it still doesn't load, I'm going to call xbox tonight and see what they say.... and give them hell

 

Had this yesterday i fixed it in the end just by quit the application on the game and powering down the console
