    I also had this problem. I thought i already had gold because it had worked in the past but now it says i dont have permission. So i tried getting another subscription but it said i had too many on my account.

    cyrilsneer1980 you don't seem to be on a gold membership. But a gold membership is mandatory to play online multiplayer games. And already playing with a friend online is a multiplayer match. So please get a gold membership.
