Fifa issue (verifcation codes)

Hi Guys

Please bare with me

I have bought a new console and on loading up Fifa 19 it asks me to log in so I can play online.

Issue I have is I cannot remember my password.

The email address I signed up with 11 years ago has now been deleted as microsoft delete accounts that have not been active.

So I am unable to reset my password

During this 11 years I updated my gamertag account email to my current one.

So when EA try to send me a verification code through the xbox they are not able to by pass the old deleted email addres and have told me I need to contact Microsoft.

EA just palmed me off when all I need is the email updating but they are not allowing me to do anything.

Microsoft won't allow me to have acces to my deleted email address so I am very stuck.

Could someone please help who may of had this issue themselves?

Or have any ideas?

If you have changed the email associated with your gtag there is no reason to receive the game code in the previous email.

That's what I thought.

But whenever EA try to sort my issue and send me a new code they have trouble and have exhausted all routes and told me to contact microsoft and I have no luck on that side either.

Hi Smoggie,

When you refer to EA sending you a code? Are you logging in with the old email that was deleted on the EA account. If EA needs to send a code you would need to contact them to update the information on the EA account.

If you add two step verifcation you can gift the battle pass to them using v-bucks

Hello again, yes Two Step Verifcation and 2FA (Two Factor Authentication, are the same thing.

But if the number that is active on the account in 2FA is yours, you should be able to log into the account, which exactly happened that made you request to recover the account.
