FIFA 22 will not download via disk or download.

Kindly try to download the game via Xbox App on your mobile device by searching the game then click “Download to console”. Once the game is fully installed you can then insert the disc to play the game.

Hi, does it matter whether it’s a download from the Microsoft store or does it have to be the physical disk; will either version work?

I’m not sure about disc but I have got both versions of fifa 22 downloaded from Microsoft store and they work

The game just closes unexpectedly after I select the language and the lauch screen of fifa 22 is opened. It is happening on windows 10 and it only happens with this game, via the game pass I also downloaded sea of thieves and that game works perfectly. I only troubleshouted for compatability I also reinstalled FIfa 22 and restarted my computer multiple times

nevermind! just tried playing FIFA 22 on the series x with the disk in the X, and it’s saying i don’t own it and need to check the disk is in!!

Installing on internal storage with external removed already

It just happens with fifa 22 sx, downloaded deathloop today just fine and already playing and kicking, the fifa 22 xbox one version also downloads just fine.
