Fifa 22 online play not possible over Remote Play

Hi all,

I have a problem.

I am playing Fifa 22 over remote play on my Surface 7 Pro. Everything is fine except FUT online gaming.

After I found a opponent the controller is not working anymore on the opponent screen. I have to wait for the time is running up and go back to FUT screen. Then the controller is working again.

What is that?

Edit:

If I connect the controller to my Surface then its working. But not when the controller is connected to the Xbox X.

What kind of nonsense is that?

Hi,

for now this happens only in Fifa 22 for me.

I dont think its a Fifa problem. Because if I connect the Controller with the Surface its working. I have tested it with three Controllers.

What I found out: On the opponent screen the Y Button is working. It's the only button.

Hello ox_eye, I have not found anything related to this issue in my research, however this may be something related to the game mode in Fifa, you have already tested other games to see if the same happens.

According to EA you won't be able to play across console generations or cross-play in FIFA 22.

You can only play with an Xbox One player if you're playing the Xbox One version on your Xbox Series X.

"You will be able to match up with and against other players based on the version of FIFA 22 that you are playing.

If you are playing the PlayStation 4 version of FIFA 22 you will be able to match up and play with and against other players who are playing on the same version of FIFA 22, regardless of whether they are playing on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. The same is true for the Xbox One version of FIFA 22, where you will be able to match up and play with and against other players who are playing the same version on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.

If you are playing the PlayStation 5 version of FIFA 22, you will only be able to match up with and play against other players who are playing the PlayStation 5 version. The same is true for the Xbox Series X|S version of FIFA 22, where only players on Xbox Series X|S will be able to play each other."

it happened to me after game pass subscription ended, i still have gold but i cant play fifa 22 online.

other games work just not this one.
