    Fifa 21 crashing on launch, xbox series X


    Whenever i press A on the start screen of fifa 21 before going into the cinematics the game crashes. When i bypass the cinematics by not having an account signed in while loading the game then signing in when it asks me to select profile the game will crash
    after a goal is scored and the replay starts in ultimate team.

    I have tried the following fixes all of which haven't work:

    - Using a different profile

    - Deleting and reinstalling fifa

    - Hard resetting (hold power button for 10 seconds thing)

    - Cleared mac address and reset after

    - Tried a different TV

    - Tried different plug sockets

    - Tried wired and wireless

    - Factory reset xbox

    - Removed and readded profile

    - Cleared game data

    - Unplugged all cables and waited 3 minutes

    - Contacted ea, they sent me to microsoft troubleshoot steps so i did all of those

    I've tried the xbox one version of fifa on the xbox series x and this runs fine just the new next gen version of it not working. Don't know if it's an error during download when i press view in microsoft store and press manage content it doesnt show it installed
    and says install so i press it even tho it's installed downloads in a second obviously however my game says its 36gb roughly where as it said on store it should be around 56 gb i think.

    Any suggestion of fixes i could try or is it an issue with hardware?

    Does anyone have a list of all Fifa’s that run on Series X?

    Fifa 21
    Fifa 22
    Fifa 23
    Not quite what they were asking. Those FIFA's have Series X|S versions.

    However, since Series X (with its optical drive) plays Xbox One games, the list goes back to FIFA 14.

    Note, none of the Xbox 360 versions are backwards compatible.

    Not necessarily fifa 21 xbox one version crashes and turns mine off so does fortnite

    Thank you for your post. All games available on Xbox One will be compatible on the Xbox Series X/S meaning you will not have to repurchase FIFA 21 if and when you purchase an Xbox Series S or X.

    FIFA 22 and Next-Gen issues

    I have the same problem too. Looks perfect on Xbox One version and terrible on Xbox Series version on my Xbox Series S. Just like Fifa 21. I already canceled my pre-order because EA will blame Microsoft and vice-versa just like Fifa 21.
