FIFA 19 Freeze/Crashes, out of troubleshooting options.

Console: Xbox One X, 46% free space on 1 TB HD.

FIFA 19 is unplayable.

I’ve had issues with Fifa 19 for almost 3 months. I’ve spent 40+ hours with EA and Xbox support and they’ve essentially told me they’re out of options...

Issue: the game freezes and crashes (returning to home screen or rebooting xbox). I quit playing FUT mode because it gave me so many losses...

(*Occasionally I get an error in other games to clear local saved games as well.)

Troubleshooting steps thus far: (ive done most of these a dozen or more times)

1) Pushed alternate MAC address

2) Cleared Local saved games (a lot)

3) Removed and readded account

4) Deleted game and redownloaded

5) Soft system reset (kept games/apps)

6) Hard system reset (wiped console clean)

7) Performed an offline update

8) Performed system updates

9) Put Fifa on an external hard drive

Xbox support told me my only option for a refund was to dispute the bank payment, which is hard to do after 3 months of troubleshooting. I also asked for a hard disk of the game to no avail. EA support also had no other suggestions.

Hi John!

It seems like your Xbox might have some kind of issue in hardware (not an expert, I haven't taken that Ambassador course yet). Sadly, you may have to get a new Xbox. If your game is digital, then I'm not sure what to do other than getting a new Xbox. If
it's FIFA 19 and only FIFA 19, then there may be a small hardware issue having to do with the game's specific assets. I'm not an expert, but I think something may be overheated, cracked, broken, or unplugged within your Xbox.

Thanks dor the suggestions. I forgot to add I’ve already done all the network troubleshooting as well. (Its my day job)

So I should duplicate this question in an EA forum?

My xbox is under warranty for another few months. Anyone know the process to see if its worthy of being sent in for maintenance/repair under warranty?

Is the game digital or a disc?

And is all your ports open to allow your xboxlive to access your router?
