    Fifa 18 - Error message about selected storage device no longer available


    Hi,

    We have a new xbox one x purchased for Christmas. We purchased Fifa 18 from the app store and after installation it worked fine. Today though my son started the game and got this message:

    Your selected storage device is no longer available. You will need to select a storage device to save games.

    We are then given the option to retry or cancel, retry just brings up the same message. Selecting cancel just gives a blue screen with a flashing yellow 18 at the bottom.

    How do we get around this problem? Do we need to delete and re-install?

    your selected storage device is no longer available,you will need to select a storage device to save games(fifa 18). What is the problem? i don't have an external hard,i have 150 GB free.

    Fifa 18 - controller doesn't work and selected storage device no longer available

    I got these suggestions from EA Chat support and it helped:

    1. Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternative Mac Address > Clear

    2. After this shut down the console, disconnect the power cord from the back of the Xbox One and wait two minutes.

    3. Once the two minutes have passed, plug the power back in and wait for the power bricks light to go from White to Orange.

    4. Once the brick is Orange, start your console.

    I would try a fresh install if the options do nothing.

    have you tried deleting the game and reinstall it again to see if that helps
